Volunteers are being sought to help prepare Rosslare Harbour and Kilrane villages for the SuperValu Tidy Towns Competition. Volunteers will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6.30 and Saturday mornings at 9.30, with specific times posted on the RHKEG Facebook page. Tasks include painting, weeding, watering, litter picking, grass cutting, and general maintenance. A bird-care tip recommends providing clean bowls of water in gardens and avoiding feeding birds during summer, while sterilizing feeders in readiness for next winter to reduce the spread of avian diseases.
