All agreed the shows were most enjoyable and many visitors who attended the shows were very impressed by the centre, its facilities and the many activities taking place there. AGM taking place this Wednesday, May 20, at 8.30 p.m."
"Saturday, May 30 sees the Mill Café host the annual Jack and Jill fundraiser organised by Margaret McIntyre, Loughill. This is always a very uplifting day and funds raised go to support a very worthwhile organisation, empowering parents to care for their sick child at home."
"The Mill Community Cafe has been going strong since March 2019. It functions with the help of local volunteers and the support of the many people who visit to enjoy good company and excellent hospitality. With such a large group of volunteers working in the project, occasional spaces inevitably appear from time to time. A small number of volunteers are needed to augment the current rota. Contact Rita or Attracta if you would like to get involved."
"'More Than a match' is a new book created by Aoibheann NicGhiolla Bhuí (daughter of Monica McCarrick). The book is based on her undergraduate studies and deals with the subject of the hidden stress and struggles of GAA players: psychological flexibility and protective factors. Aoibheann, who now lives in Liverpool, is nearing the completion of a masters in Psychotherapy (CBT). The book is available on Amazon.ie."
