"Mary was a force for good, not only in the title insurance industry but in communities nationwide, said ALTA President Richard Welshons. Her vision for the Foundation was rooted in the belief that our work extends far beyond real estate transactions. These latest grants are a continuation of the good she helped put into motion, and we are proud to honor her legacy by carrying it forward."

Mary O'Donnell, former ALTA president and president and CEO of Westcor Land Title Insurance Co., died Sept. 4 after playing a central role in creating and advancing the Foundation's mission. O'Donnell appeared on HousingWire's annual Women of Influence list and influenced charitable priorities rooted in service beyond real estate transactions. The Foundation distributed 21 grants of $5,000 each to charities supported by ALTA members across the United States. Recipients cover a range of services including housing, medical support, youth programs, hunger relief, and community engagement. The grants are presented as a continuation of O'Donnell's commitment and reflect members' generosity and community focus.
