Jordan Cristillo honors his brother Andrew, who died in a recent car accident, by reflecting on their bond. The Cristillo family is devastated, facing immense loss as Andrew leaves behind his wife, Christina, and three young daughters. They are receiving support from the community, highlighted by a GoFundMe campaign that has raised over $450,000. Christina is also battling cancer, compounding the family’s grief. The driver responsible for the accident, Jaiwin Victor Kirubananthan, has been charged with multiple offenses, including dangerous driving causing death.
When Jordan Cristillo remembers his brother Andrew, who died tragically in a car crash near Whitchurch-Stouffville earlier this month, he thinks of him as 'a gift' a loving father and a great friend.
A GoFundMe campaign started by the family has amassed over $450,000 in contributions. The support his family has received 'means the world to us, it gives us strength,' said Cristillo.
According to police, the crash occurred on Highway 48 outside of Whitchurch-Stouffville, when the car Kirubananthan was driving collided with the Cristillos' family car.
Andrew leaves behind three young daughters and his wife, Christina, who now has to battle cancer without her best friend by her side.
