Each year, the Foundation commissions one-of-a-kind heart sculptures created by local artists. Hearts in San Francisco sculptures can be spotted throughout the City and beyond. San Francisco General Hospital Foundation presents Hearts in San Francisco 2026 to raise funds for patient care and innovation at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. Twenty-one one-of-a-kind heart sculptures by Bay Area artists will be displayed across the City and at the Ferry Building January 24 through February 11, 2026, with hours expected to mirror prior 7 am–8 pm schedules. The sculptures will be auctioned on February 12, 2026, to benefit the Hospital. Many hearts are privately owned or placed in sponsor lobbies and storefronts; Tony Bennett's heart permanently sits at Powell and Post in Union Square. Admission is free.
