French government to increase benefits from April
Briefly

From April 1st, 2023, France will raise family allowance payments by 1.7% in response to annual inflation. This change will affect about five million households receiving aid through the Family Allowance Fund (CAF), including various benefits like allocations familiales and the one-time birth payment. For instance, families with two children will see their payment rise from €148.52 to €151.04. Additionally, payments will be disbursed earlier than usual this month, on April 4th instead of the regular date of the 5th.
Starting on April 1st, France will increase the benefits paid out via its 'Family Allowance Fund' (Caisse d'allocations familiales, or CAF).
