"Since the weekend, Paris' Place de la République has been a place of reflection ahead of the 10th anniversary of the November 13th terror attacks, in which 130 people died in a coordinated series of attacks at the Bataclan, Stade de France and six city bars and cafés. Members of the public have left candles, flowers and notes at the foot of the statue in tribute to the victims of the atrocities, the survivors and their families."
"Daytime Thursday marks the anniversary itself, and will see a day of memorial events, including the opening of a new garden of remembrance in Paris. There will also be TV coverage of the events. President Emmanuel Macron, Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo and representatives of victims' groups will throughout the day visit each of the sites targeted in the attacks "for a moment of reflection alongside the families and associations of victims," the Élysée Palace has said in a press release."
"A minute's silence will be observed at each location. The visits begin at Stade de France in Saint-Denis at 11.30am, moving into Paris to the sites of the cafés Le Carillon and Le Petit Cambodge at 12.30pm, and La Bonne Bière at 1pm. A security perimeter will be established around Stade de France on Thursday from 9.30am to 2pm. Several streets around the stadium will be subject to traffic restrictions: Rue Henri-Delaunay, Avenue Jules-Rimet, Rue du Mondial-1998, Rue de l'Olympisme, Place du Cornillon, Rue du"
