Manae Feleu has appealed a three-week ban imposed after the World Cup match in Exeter. Both Feleu and Axelle Berthoumieu have been banned and will be unavailable for the remainder of the World Cup following acts of foul play during France's controversial 18-13 victory over Ireland. Berthoumieu received a suspension reduced to 12 matches from an original 18 after being found to have bitten Ireland back-row Aoife Wafer early in the second half at Sandy Park. The bans remove two key players from France's squad for the tournament's remaining fixtures.
