It's hidden at the very top of Hotel Valencia and overlooks Plaza de Valencia with the Santa Cruz Mountains in the background. It's often open to enjoy the view, but is underutilized as a place to grab a drink or bite for most of the year. Fortunately, that is changing with it's very first Winter activation: Cielo Rooftop's Holiday Experience."

Cielo Rooftop at Hotel Valencia is reimagined as a Holiday Experience through January 10, 2026, with frosted pines, glowing fire pits, and plush faux-fur seating to create an intimate outdoor retreat. The activation runs Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m., is closed Sundays, Mondays, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, and operates weather permitting. The experience includes an exclusive Piper-Heidsieck Champagne partnership with bespoke cocktails, caviar pairings, and premium pours. The menu features starters such as butternut-coconut soup and spicy chorizo croquettes, shared Spanish charcuterie, entrees including chickpea ratatouille and volcano lamb shank, and desserts like apple pie and chocolate fondue. Mulled wine is offered as a seasonal drink.
