"A Victoria Line train probably isn't the first place you'd think to have dinner but Supperclub.tube is not your average train. Rather than being the overcrowded, noisy sweatbox you commute in, this refurbished 1967 TfL carriage has been turned into a restaurant, complete with tables, linens, fine silverware, a curated jazz playlist and dim lighting, giving it a serene and intimate atmosphere, instead of rush hour chaos."
"Once on board, you get treated to a six-course, Latin American-inspired menu created by Head Chef Beatriz Maldonado Carreño. Her dishes include Colombian-style empanadas with beef brisket and potatoes; hake and prawn ceviche with tomatillo leche de tigre; slow-cooked duck leg in banana leaves with black beans and Colombian sweetcorn dumplings; and caramelised bananas with aguardiente, corn & orange cake, coconut ice cream, and banana & orange caramel."
A 1967 TfL Victoria Line carriage has been refurbished into a restaurant named Supperclub.tube, outfitted with tables, linens, fine silverware, a curated jazz playlist and dim lighting to create a serene, intimate atmosphere. The six-course, Latin American–inspired menu is created by Head Chef Beatriz Maldonado Carreño and features Colombian-style empanadas with beef brisket, hake and prawn ceviche with tomatillo leche de tigre, slow-cooked duck leg in banana leaves with black beans and sweetcorn dumplings, and caramelised bananas with aguardiente and coconut ice cream. A dinner-for-four giveaway takes place on 15 January 2026 at Walthamstow Pumphouse Museum with entry terms and age restrictions.
