Savings reach up to €0.60 per pack on salted and unsalted creamery butter in 227g and 454g sizes. All 454g own-brand butters drop from €3.99 to €3.39 (15%), and all 227g own-brand butters fall from €2.39 to €2.09 (13%). Affected products include SuperValu Butter, SuperValu Irish Creamery Butter, Centra Butter, and Centra Unsalted Irish Creamery Butter. Musgrave cited household cost pressures and said it is investing in own-brand affordability. Other retailers were asked about matching cuts amid wider grocery price movements.
