Saturdays between mid-morning and early afternoon (roughly 10:00 a.m. to 1:59 p.m. or noon to 3 p.m.) register the highest shopper volume, producing long lines, picked-over shelves, and dense crowds at supercenters. More than half of shoppers use supercenters for weekly restocks, concentrating traffic at Walmart. Tuesday and Wednesday present the calmest shopping windows, with many stores rolling out weekly specials and clearances then.
