Eric Greenspan, chef and co-operator of Tesla Diner, is leaving the project to open Mish, a Jewish deli, in the coming months. Greenspan said his departure had been in the works for more than one month and that his focus is now on Mish. Tesla Diner opened in July at the Hollywood–West Hollywood border as Tesla's first restaurant, combining an EV charging station and a diner. The diner served American classics and attracted both fans and protesters. Staff say the diner will flip to a full-service model by January. Tesla representatives could not be reached for comment.
