Slice House expands pizza footprint to Milpitas

Tony Gemignani is opening a new Slice House at 1286 Great Mall Parkway in the mixed-use complex across from the Great Mall in Milpitas. The location will create more than 30 full- and part-time jobs. Anuvab Pal will perform The Nation Wants to Know on Sept. 15 at the India Community Center, 525 Los Coches St., with the show starting at 8 p.m. Pal has performed the show over 500 times across cities from Mumbai to Sydney to San Francisco and Singapore and has sold out major comedy clubs in London and New York. "As we continue to expand Slice House's footprint across the country, it's especially exciting for me to open doors throughout the Bay Area where I grew up and launched my pizza career - and this is true for Milpitas," said Gemignani in a release.
Pal has performed his stand up comedy show more than 500 times, starting in Mumbai and playing from Sydney to San Francisco to Singapore to sold out houses across 30 cities. He is the only Indian comedian besides Russel Peters to sell out The Comedy Store in London and Gotham Comedy Club in New York. In India, Pal is the author of four bestselling novels and the screenwriter of the Bollywood films "Loins Of Punjab Presents" and "The President Is Coming."
