Six Flags Discovery Kingdom to host three seasonal events
"Fear Fest, perhaps the most terrifying event of the three, will kick off the screams beginning Sept. 20. Running Friday through Sunday nights, it includes fear-filled Scare Zones, five scary pay-to-panic Haunted Mazes, and of course, fall-themed treats. This year's Haunted Maze themes are: CarnEvil: Ringmaster's Revenge Lost Souls Club Fear Hotel Hellview 666 Midnight Mansion"
"New additions include a remastered "CarnEvil: Ringmaster's Revenge," featuring frightening dead in the form of wandering clowns and twisted carnival games. With an all-new backstory - and the same evil clowns - this year's CarnEvil maze captures the essence of an unsuccessful circus and a rag-tag group of clowns looking for their next victims."
"For those who don't seek a scare, for the first time the park is unveiling the all-new family-friendly Tricks and Treats event. It features all types of fall activities for the kiddos, including hay mazes, monster mask making, a foam pit and even a Trick-or-Treat trail."
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom offers three seasonal events this fall: Fright Fest, Oktoberfest, and a new family-friendly Tricks and Treats. Fear Fest begins Sept. 20 and runs Friday through Sunday nights, featuring Scare Zones, five pay-to-panic Haunted Mazes and seasonal treats. Haunted mazes include CarnEvil: Ringmaster's Revenge, Lost Souls, Club Fear, Hotel Hellview 666 and Midnight Mansion, with individual upgrades and a Haunted Attractions Pass available for all five. Tricks and Treats provides hay mazes, mask making, a foam pit and a Trick-or-Treat trail. Seasonal food returns, including limited funnel cakes and boozy "blood bags" with a non-alcoholic option.
