"New additions include a remastered CarnEvil: Ringmaster's Revenge, featuring frightening dead in the form of wandering clowns and twisted carnival games. With an all-new backstory and the same evil clowns this year's CarnEvil maze captures the essence of an unsuccessful circus and a rag-tag group of clowns looking for their next victims. If people were really fans of CarnEvil in years past, we think they will really enjoy this one, said the park's Regional Public Relations Manager, Marc Merino."
"For those who don't seek a scare, for the first time the park is unveiling the all-new family-friendly Tricks and Treats event. It features all types of fall activities for the kiddos, including hay mazes, monster mask making, a foam pit and even a Trick-or-Treat trail. In addition to the copious amounts of candy, seasonal treats this year include limited edition funnel cakes and the return of the fan-favorite boozy blood bags, this time with a non-alcoholic option."
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom will host three seasonal events: Fright Fest, Oktoberfest and a new family-friendly Tricks and Treats. Fright Fest begins Sept. 20 and runs Friday through Sunday nights with Scare Zones, five pay-to-panic haunted mazes and fall-themed concessions. Haunted mazes include CarnEvil: Ringmaster's Revenge (remastered), Lost Souls, Club Fear, Hotel Hellview 666 and Midnight Mansion, each with spooky upgrades. A Haunted Attractions Pass grants access to all five mazes. Tricks and Treats offers hay mazes, monster mask making, a foam pit, and a Trick-or-Treat trail. Seasonal food includes limited funnel cakes and boozy blood bags with a non-alcoholic option. Oktoberfest returns with bratwursts and brews.
