The Millbrae location is the chain's third planned Bay Area store, joining sites planned for San Jose's Westgate Center in early 2026 and San Francisco's City Center in late 2026. The site sits just south of San Francisco International Airport and is demographically well placed, with more than half of Millbrae's population being Asian. Several Asian grocery competitors already operate nearby. The chain was founded in 1993 in Vancouver and runs stores across multiple Canadian provinces, two Washington State outlets, and plans for Southern California expansion. The store will offer produce, meats, prepackaged Asian products, spirits, and the chain's signature Crispy Papa Chicken.
