Love is baked in as Junior's hosts Valentine's vow renewals in Brooklyn
"Brooklyn, NY - Romance and cheesecake were on the menu Friday as four couples from across the country renewed their wedding vows at the legendary Junior's Restaurant in downtown Brooklyn. The event marked the 4th annual Junior's Valentine's Day Vow Renewal Ceremony and Celebration, an ode to love and the restaurant's decades-long connection to romance. The winners - couples from Chicago, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; Norfolk, Virginia; and Brooklyn - were selected from more than 1,000 entries nationwide."
"Each pair received gifts including tickets to the Off-Broadway show Just Desserts, a two-night luxury hotel stay, dining certificates, and a promise of a free Junior's cheesecake every anniversary for life. "Since I was a kid coming to work with my dad, I've seen thousands of first dates, engagements, and anniversaries here. It's only natural to bring that love full circle with these vow renewals," he said."
"Louie and Lyudmila Fleck of Brooklyn, who had their third date at Junior's and served its cake at their wedding. Bob and Kristy Caton of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, married 15 years and frequent visitors who still laugh about over-ordering potato pancakes before dessert. Erin and Vance Van Horn of Norfolk, Virginia, middle school sweethearts who chose Junior's cheesecake as their wedding cake to honor a family tradition. Adam and Dara Tarkowski of Chicago, who shared their first New York trip - and their first slice"
