"Soho's about to get a late-night jolt of fire and spice with new Indo-Chinese restaurant Tangra, opening on Frith Street, close to Ronnie Scott's and Bar Italia, this October. It's named after Kolkata's Tangra neighbourhood, where the Hakka Chinese community blended their own cooking methods with Indian spices and ingredients to create a new cuisine, so you can expect plenty of punchy flavours here."
"His menu of small plates, noodles and rice dishes is heavy on spice and smoke - think Chilli Paneer Hakko, Himawan Sadeko Chick'n and a Tangra Special Combination Rice that's got late-night favourite written all over it. The 60-cover spot will look just as bold, with retro laminates, textured brick and neon accents, and it'll be open until 1.30am on weekends, so it'll be one to hit up after a night on the town."
