Iconic Atlanta Restaurant Eats to Reopen at a Brewery in West End
"Y'all, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, EATS is coming back,"
"EATS is reopening in March 2026 with the epic return of the pasta menu. Yes, it's really happening."
"become the steward of the EATS brand, continuing its legacy in the city from their West End location at the Lee + White complex."
"So come say hi, catch up, and act like you never stopped coming,"
Wild Heaven Beer purchased Eats after the comfort-food restaurant closed on Ponce de Leon Avenue in October. Eats will reopen at Wild Heaven's West End taproom at the Lee + White complex in March 2026. Wild Heaven owners Nick Purdy and Eric Johnson, alongside longtime customers Brent and Amity Dey, led the purchase. Eats owner Bob Hatcher said the restaurant had been losing money since the pandemic. Eats was known for affordable comfort food, jerk chicken, meat-and-three plates, and a pasta menu that will return. The taproom will replace El Tesoro and serve both menus.
