Lidl cut prices on five sliced-pan products, with Medium Sliced White Pan (800g) down 10c to 85c, Toaster Sliced White Pan (800g) to 99c, White Half Loaf (400g) to 75c, Brown Pan Medium Sliced (800g) to 95c, and Best Balance Sliced Pan (800g) to €1.05. Previous own-brand milk price cuts prompted rival matching, and responses from other retailers are expected ahead of the Christmas period.
