Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop ghost kitchens are coming to the Bay Area
"First, a San Jose location is slated to open on Oct. 27 at 949 Ruff Drive, followed by a Sunnyvale outpost on Nov. 17 at 1026 W. Evelyn Ave. and a San Francisco kitchen on Dec. 8 at 60 Morris St. in SoMa, the company confirmed to SFGATE. The San Jose location will be delivery only, while the other two locations will offer both pickup and delivery. None offer dine-in."
"Goop Kitchen offers many dishes without refined sugar, gluten, dairy, seed oils, corn, peanuts or preservatives, according to its website. Expect dishes like the "goop Father Italian Chopped Salad," a curry cauliflower soup, a blackened salmon bowl, a chicken Caesar wrap, gluten-free pizza, turmeric-spiced chicken bone broth, and maple pecan oatmeal cookies. Bay Area menus will mirror Southern California menus, with a few exclusive-to-San Francisco specials launching down the line, a Goop Kitchen representative told SFGATE."
"Goop Kitchen is the health-centric takeout restaurant from Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop, best known for selling controversial items like jade eggs and vagina-scented candles. LA outlets have reviewed Goop Kitchen fairly positively: "Consider Goop Kitchen a solid lunch option when you're short on time and want something healthy and better-tasting than whatever you'd find in a deli market cold case," wrote the Infatuation of its Beverly Hills location."
Goop Kitchen is a health-focused takeout concept from Goop with ten Southern California locations and three Bay Area ghost kitchens opening in San Jose (Oct. 27), Sunnyvale (Nov. 17), and San Francisco (Dec. 8). The San Jose site will be delivery-only; the Sunnyvale and San Francisco kitchens will offer pickup and delivery; none will provide dine-in service. Menus exclude refined sugar, gluten, dairy, seed oils, corn, peanuts, and preservatives. Menu items include the goop Father Italian Chopped Salad, curry cauliflower soup, blackened salmon bowl, chicken Caesar wrap, gluten-free pizza, turmeric-spiced chicken bone broth, and maple pecan oatmeal cookies. Bay Area offerings will initially mirror Southern California menus with upcoming San Francisco exclusives.
