"A new Girl Scout cookie that's reminiscent of a classic ice cream flavor is joining the lineup. Girl Scouts of Northern California and Girl Scouts of the USA announced Wednesday that the latest flavor to join the cookie roster is Exploremores, a sandwich cookie inspired by rocky road ice cream. The new treat - which is made with chocolate, marshmallow and almond-flavor creme - will be available at Girl Scout sales booths and online between Jan. 12 and March 15, 2026."
"The new flavor comes on the heels of a January announcement that the Girl Scouts would discontinue S'mores and Toast-Yay next year. At the time, a Girl Scouts of the USA spokesperson told Food & Wine, "We routinely reevaluate our cookie lineup to make room for new innovations." "Discontinuing Toast-Yay! and Girl Scout S'mores may lead to something new and delicious," the spokesperson added."
Girl Scouts of Northern California and Girl Scouts of the USA announced Exploremores, a sandwich cookie inspired by rocky road ice cream. Exploremores contains chocolate, marshmallow and almond-flavor creme and will be available at sales booths and online between Jan. 12 and March 15, 2026. The cookie was developed after members completed a survey indicating they wanted a light flavor that harkens back to a warm summer afternoon. Exploremores follows the decision to discontinue S'mores and Toast-Yay as part of routine lineup reevaluation. The new flavor will join Thin Mints, Caramel deLites (Samoas) and Peanut Butter Patties (Tagalongs).
