Get on the naughty list at these holiday pop-up bars
"Even if you're perpetually sad, you still want to get into the holiday spirit - even if it's a dark lonely suffering spirit. So for all the emos out there there's Emo Xmas. This pop-up bar switches up the happy jingles for sad songs and even sadder sounding, yet still tasty, cocktails. Expect drinks like the I'm Not Okay vodka and lemonade mix, or the mango-infused I Don't Want to Blue in Love. There will also be DJs, trivia and karaoke."

There's no word on whether Santa is going to show up in all black instead of his usual jolly red outfit."
Holiday pop-up bars in the Los Angeles area provide themed drinking and entertainment experiences through late December and early January. Emo XMAS (through Dec. 28 at 6423 Yucca St.) caters to emo sensibilities with sad songs replacing jingles, themed cocktails such as the Im Not Okay and I Dont Want to Blue in Love, and DJs, trivia and karaoke. Frosty's Christmas Bar (through Dec. 30 at 6555 Hollywood Blvd.) features twinkling lights, falling snow flakes, oversized ornaments, holiday characters and party-focused drinks. The Gingerbread Lounge (through Jan. 2 at Terranea Resort) centers on a 7-by-7-foot, 1,000-pound gingerbread display with a functional bar and gingerbread village.
