""Because we chop all our sandwiches, you get the perfect bite of everything,""
""It's mainly just ingredients we are using: good ground beef, slicing tomatoes in-house, and making [our own] sauces,""
""The bread is arguably one of its most important parts.""
""We love meeting the customers, hearing their stories, and seeing their honest reaction to food,""
Brown Bag Sandwich Co. opens a second Manhattan location at 64 West 22nd Street in Flatiron on October 28. The menu centers on chopped versions of classics like turkey club, spicy tuna melt, hot roast beef, Italian, and three chopped-cheese varieties (classic, bacon with fried onions, and spicy), with non-chopped options available. Sandwiches cost $14–$18 and use Parisi Bakery hoagies and rolls baked daily for chunkier, texture-rich bites. Ingredients include quality ground beef, in-house sliced tomatoes, and house-made sauces. Chef Antonio Barbieri brings experience from Eleven Madison Park, and the new site includes a hood and fryer for expanded offerings.
