A fine dining restaurant centered around Lebanese cuisine will open at 280 Shawmut Ave. in the South End in September 2025. The restaurant will occupy two floors and provide seating for 67 patrons, and manager Lina Samaha sought a full liquor license in August. A Blank Street Coffee will replace the former Twin Donuts site at 501 Cambridge St. in Allston, with plans to restore the neon sign and offer exclusive tribute items; that location targets spring 2026. A Lowell-based health-conscious cafe has opened at 91 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington, offering grain bowls and smoothies with seasonal additions.
