Schwarzenegger has not reprised his role as Dutch in any of the seven live-action Predator sequels. Producer Ben Rosenblatt reports that the 78-year-old actor is very interested in returning and has met with director Dan Trachtenberg multiple times. Schwarzenegger has expressed love for the rebooted franchise since Trachtenberg's Prey (2002). Schwarzenegger provided a brief animated cameo in Predator: Killer of Killers and voice work for the Predator: Hunting Grounds video game in 2020. Producers hope to pursue his return after Predator: Badlands.
