"The celebration at Walt Disney World was the culmination of a summer-long national tour hosted by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. The tour brought special throwback screenings of "A Goofy Movie" to more than 20 cities across the U.S., including Las Vegas, Dallas, St. Louis, and New York. The film follows Goofy as he tries to connect with his teenage son, Max, by taking him on a cross-country road trip - leading to hilarious misadventures and heartwarming moments."
"Farmer, who has voiced Goofy for more than 35 years, showed up to the screening wearing some sentimental attire. "This is the actual jacket and the same tie," he told On The Red Carpet. "I don't know if it's the original tie that I wore 30 years ago, but this jacket was given to me by Disney character voices." After missing the original premiere, Marsden, was thrilled to finally join the celebration."
