"At only 357 pieces, it's technically designed for ages 9 and up. But don't let the small size and kid-friendly assembly fool you; it's still packed with details. You can also build the car two ways: either as the DeLorean from the original movie or the flying version with sideways wheels. Either way, the vehicle has a time calculator, rear air vents-and, of course, the flux capacitor. Can't time travel without that."
"As a Lego collector, I wasn't surprised to see this sell out on day one, seeing as the larger Back to the Future set that's been on the market since 2022 is often out of stock, despite its $200 price tag. But for builders not willing to shell out hundreds (and lacking the space to display a big set), this mini version is a game-changer."
The Back to the Future Time Machine Lego set is a compact 357-piece model selling for under $30. The set is designed for ages 9 and up and includes detailed elements such as a flux capacitor, time calculator, rear air vents, and two build configurations: the original DeLorean and the flying version with sideways wheels. Minifigures of Doc Brown and Marty McFly are included and both fit inside the model. The set sold out on release day January 1 and has just been restocked, with limited availability expected. A larger Back to the Future set remains available but often sells out and faces retirement later this year.
