Teyana Taylor 'shoved' backstage at Oscars: 'You're very rude'
"You're a man putting your hands on a female. That's very rude. You're very rude... Because he's putting his hands on a female. What's he doing? He literally shoved me. He was damn near shoving her."
"Do not touch me, do not shove me, do not push me."
Teyana Taylor, nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her role in One Battle After Another, was walking backstage at the Dolby Theatre when she encountered a man who allegedly shoved her. Taylor publicly called out the unidentified man, criticizing his behavior toward her and another woman. In video footage shared on social media, Taylor can be heard telling the man that putting his hands on a female is rude and demanding he not touch, shove, or push her. Though Taylor did not win her acting category, her film One Battle After Another won Best Picture at the ceremony.
