""Every time we did put a song there, it was a SZA song," he said. "We used 'Good Days' once, and then we used 'Saturn' once.""
""And there's just a vibe for those two songs that I think had a melancholy (feel) to it, and a sort of joy but sadness to it that really felt like that is the mood for the end of the movie," Chong added."
SZA released a new song titled "Save the Day" that will play during the end credits of Disney and Pixar's upcoming film Hoppers. The track carries a melancholic atmosphere that still lifts mood and suggests a happy-ish ending tied to missions and commitments. Director Daniel Chong used SZA songs as placeholders during production and reached out to her to create an original end-credits piece after her tour. Hoppers opens in theaters on March 6 and follows Mabel, whose mind is transferred into a robotic beaver to communicate with animals and help save their habitat.
