Projects include a Berkeley filmmaker’s documentary about mourning due to climate change in Iceland; a San Francisco native’s feature about an 8-year-old impacted by a park attack; a Marin County director’s head-trip starring Daveed Diggs; a Berkeley native’s survival film about a K2 mountaineering tragedy; and a short co-directed by basketball star Stephen Curry with a two-time Oscar winner. Sundance will hold its final Park City edition before relocating to Boulder in 2027, and limited online tickets stream Jan. 29–Feb. 1.
