Only a few weeks of awards season remain before major prizes are handed out and red carpets are rolled up. Jessie Buckley continued a golden run and made history as the first-ever Irish woman to win the BAFTA for Best Actress for her role in Hamnet. Buckley had also collected an IFTA earlier that weekend and signalled increasing momentum toward an Oscar.
