Quentin Tarantino Has an Idea for a Potential Kill Bill Prequel
""We'll see," "I've got other things to do... I have a whole Kill Bill idea in my mind, but it was wiped out." "I like the idea of a Bill origin," "And the three godfathers that made Bill: Esteba Vihaio, Pai Mei, and Hattori Hanzo. Will I live long enough to do that? That remains to be seen.""
""a dream of a Kill Bill chapter that never made it to the silver screen.""
""It's really moving. It's really great, and I think it's something meant to be.""
Quentin Tarantino has an idea for a Kill Bill prequel centered on Bill's origin and the three mentors who shaped him: Esteba Vihaio, Pai Mei, and Hattori Hanzo. Yuki's Revenge, a short film collaboration with Fortnite and Uma Thurman, premiered on November 30 and is described as a dream of a Kill Bill chapter that never made it to the silver screen. Uma Thurman called the short film moving and meant to be. A new four-hour edit, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, opens December 5 with new footage, an animated sequence, and changes such as dropping the black-and-white motif for the Crazy 88s fight. Tarantino screened the cut at his Los Angeles theaters ahead of wide release.
