'Pulp Fiction' Actor's Brutal Cause of Death Is Revealed - Here's What We Know
""gunshot wound of left axilla with injury of the brachial artery.""
""Peter was lying on the floor, facedown, facial injury, blood everywhere,""
""Truly one of the great actors of our generation," "His heart was as big as there was. I'm going to miss him. He was a great friend.""
Peter Greene, an actor known for roles in The Mask, Pulp Fiction, and Laws of Gravity, was found dead at age 60 on Dec. 12 in his ground-floor Lower East Side apartment. Neighbors complained of loud holiday music for several days before building management gained access with a locksmith and discovered him unresponsive. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in New York City ruled the cause of death a gunshot wound of the left axilla with injury to the brachial artery and classified the manner of death as accidental. A handwritten note on his door read "I'm still a Westie." Gregg Edwards, Greene's longtime manager, called him "truly one of the great actors of our generation" and said he would miss him.
