"Alex Pereira is king of the light heavyweights once again after finishing Magomed Ankalaev in the first round Saturday night at UFC 320 in Las Vegas. Pereira floored Ankalaev with a big, looping right hand that caught the champion over the ear. With Ankalaev badly hurt, Pereira quickly pounced with a flurry of heavy elbows until the referee stopped it at 1 minute, 20 seconds of the first round. Saturday's fight was a rematch of their bout in March, when Ankalaev beat Pereira by unanimous decision to claim the belt at UFC 313."
