Marty Supreme earned nine nominations, including a third Best Actor nod for Timothée Chalamet, making him the youngest actor since Marlon Brando and the second youngest overall to receive a third leading-actor nomination. Costume designer Ruth E. Carter received her fifth nomination for Sinners, becoming the most nominated Black woman in Oscar history and a two-time Oscar winner.
