"On Friday, the ride debuted Rapunzel's tower, complete with an adorably tiny easel and paints resting at the base. During the daytime, guests will hear the sound of "When Will My Life Begin?" drifting from the tower, while at night the song will switch to "I See the Light." The canal boat attraction opened with Disneyland Park in 1955. The next year, fairy tale elements were added, and it's been a staple of Fantasyland ever since."

The canal boats originally opened with Disneyland Park in 1955 and added fairy tale elements in 1956, becoming a Fantasyland staple. The attraction already includes modern elements like Elsa's ice palace and Arendelle. All Disneyland attractions are open except a brief Indiana Jones Adventure closure Dec. 1-3.
