Macaulay Culkin announced in 2018 that he would change his middle name based on a fan vote. The fan vote selected Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin as the new legal middle name. Culkin tweeted the result on December 25, 2018 and promised to make the legal change in 2019. Culkin confirmed during a Home Alone 35th anniversary tour stop in Long Beach that his legal middle name is now Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.
