Kevin Feige Hints at Eventual Recasting of Iron Man, Captain America
Briefly

Marvel's upcoming film Secret Wars will reset the MCU, recasting iconic characters like Iron Man and Captain America. The next major release is Avengers: Doomsday, featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, set for December 18th, 2026. This film will unite original X-Men and Fantastic Four characters against Doctor Doom, setting up the next phase for the MCU. Kevin Feige emphasized that Secret Wars is about new beginnings, contrasting it with the ending themes of Endgame. X-Men will play a crucial role, focusing on themes of belonging and identity.
