Guadagnino opened in English and Roberts translated his salutations into Italian, prompting laughter from Guadagnino and the audience. Roberts and Guadagnino broke into giggles, and Roberts acknowledged she couldn't keep the bit going. Roberts admitted she had misjudged her water intake for the night and thanked presenter Paul Rudd. Roberts praised creatives for pursuing their dreams amid a challenging world and said working with Guadagnino was a longtime dream she hopes to continue.
