Joel Kim Booster and John Michael Sudsina married on 30 December in a ceremony at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. The couple met via mutual friends during a 2021 holiday in Puerto Vallarta and dated for four years before the wedding. Booster proposed in September 2024 on Jeju Island, where he was born. Guests included Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers. Sudsina works in video game production at Riot Games and confirmed he will take Booster's last name. The pair bonded over musicals and describe their relationship as adventurous and continually growing together.
