Jennifer Lopez is starring in her first musical film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, after a 30-year career. Lopez auditioned for the lead role of Evita in the 1996 film and did not get the part, which went to Madonna. Madonna’s Evita performance earned a Golden Globe and the film received five Oscar nominations, winning Best Original Song. Lopez also auditioned for Chicago and Nine, coming close on Nine.
