He attended obsessively to detail, often becoming laser-focused on a tile's texture or a window frame's paint even amid enormous sets such as the Magical Congress or the multi-storey courtyard of Hogwarts. Colleagues showed deep respect and devotion, tending to him during early Parkinson's while scouting. The Harry Potter Studio Tour at Leavesden preserves his work and legacy.
