Christopher Nolan's upcoming film adaptation of Homer's Odyssey, starring Matt Damon as Odysseus, has begun ticket pre-sales nearly a year before its release on July 17, 2026. Imax tickets are available for select cinemas that can project the film in the 1570 format, a choice made by Nolan. The film, known for its impressive visual quality, marks a milestone as it will be the first commercial feature shot entirely on Imax film cameras. Rapid sellouts in US markets have led to secondary market scalpers inflating prices significantly.
