Finn Wolfhard Figured Out the Stranger Things Spinoff
Briefly

Finn Wolfhard successfully guessed the concept of a Stranger Things spinoff, which the Duffer brothers confirmed was remarkable given that no one else had. The spinoff would function as an anthology with different tones, set in various locations but all linked through the Upside Down mythos. Wolfhard suggested the existence of labs beyond Hawkins, such as in Russia, and compared his idea to David Lynch's Twin Peaks, where multiple settings connect back to a central mystery.
"Nobody - not Netflix, not any of the producers, not any of the directors, not any of the actors - nobody else has figured out what the spinoff is. Finn figured out, which is pretty remarkable," Ross Duffer shared.
"Sort of an anthology and different tones but similar universe or same universe. I think set in different places and all tied together through this mythology of the Upside Down."
"If there was one in Hawkins, there's one in Russia. Where else could they be?"
"The idea is like David Lynch's Twin Peaks. Maybe he's talking about The Return, in which both South Dakota and Vegas are dealing with the wrath of Killer Bob and different settings connect back to the central mystery."
