"George Hardy, a kindly shepherd who lives outside the bucolic British burg of Denbrook in an Airstream-style trailer and tends his flock, each of whom he has named and none of whom he plans to kill for meat (or any other reason). Each night, he reads to them from a classic Agatha Christie-esque whodunit before heading to bed, at which point the sheep immediately begin debating whether the butler did it this time or not."
"After George is discovered dead outside his trailer one morning, the idiotic local constable (a hilarious Nicholas Braun, putting that Cousin Greg befuddlement to excellent use) is about to write it off as a heart attack, but the sheep notice clues suggesting foul play and begin a clandestine campaign to figure out who murdered their beloved owner."
"It does, however, star Wolverine (aka Hugh Jackman) as George Hardy, a kindly shepherd who lives outside the bucolic British burg of Denbrook in an Airstream-style trailer and tends his flock, each of whom he has named and none of whom he plans to kill for meat (or any other reason)."
George Hardy, a kindly shepherd living near Denbrook, reads classic whodunits to his named flock each night. The sheep include Lily, twin rams, Sir Richfield, Wool-Eyes, and Winter, who faces ostracism. After George is found dead outside his trailer, a local constable initially plans to treat it as a heart attack. The sheep instead detect signs of foul play and launch a secret effort to identify the killer. Suspects range from the butcher and rival farmers to the recipient of George’s perfumed letters, the innkeeper, and the village priest. Their investigation is aided by a cub reporter in town.
