The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is creating Academy Studios to polish, professionalize and expand interviews, videos, livestreams, podcasts and other digital initiatives that embody the Academy's mission, voice and cultural identity. Jennifer Davidson will lead Academy Studios and a production team as chief marketing, communications and content officer. Davidson joined the Academy in 2019, moved in-house in 2020 as EVP of corporate communications, became chief communications officer in 2021, and was elevated in 2024 to oversee marketing, audience development, digital/social efforts and creative brand strategy across all Academy branches. She will continue to report to CEO Bill Kramer.
