Dylan O'Brien portrays Roman, a straight man mourning his gay twin Rocky, in Twinless, written and directed by James Sweeney, who also plays Dennis. Roman and Dennis meet at a support group for bereaved twins. A hotel-room scene shows Dennis giving Roman a foot rub and then sucking his toes; O'Brien prepared by scrubbing his foot in the hotel tub. Dennis later reveals he is not a twin, had slept with Rocky, and was present the night Rocky died, prompting Roman to attack him. Sweeney criticised the leaking of a sex scene as an invasion of privacy. Twinless will screen at the BFI London Film Festival and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions bought the rights.
