Disney+ and Disney Channel have officially greenlit ZOMBIES 5, continuing the popular franchise. Freya Skye and Malachi Barton return as Nova and Victor from ZOMBIES 4, while executive producers Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly reprise their roles as Zed and Addison. Trevor Tordjman returns as Bucky, and several cast members from ZOMBIES 4 also return. The film introduces mermaids as new characters, inspired by the water tornado ending of the previous film. Three new mermaid characters join: Pearl, Fin, and Sandy, portrayed by Diaana Babnicova, Taylor Oliver, and Olive Mortimer respectively. Emily Costtrici joins as zombie Izzy. Director Paul Hoen and other executive producers return for the installment.
